About Bike Week

Bike Week, one of the UK's biggest cycling events, is taking place from 14th to 22nd June. It's all about promoting cycling as source of fitness and fun and there are free events happening all over the country for you to take part in.

The aim is to ‘Free the Family’ by challenging mums, dads, and their kids to get out of their cars, step away from their sofas and get on their bikes.

The exciting news is that Bike Week has named Sport Relief as their official charity partner – giving everyone the chance to get in the saddle and raise money for Sport Relief at the same time.

All the money raised will go to help people living incredibly tough lives both at home in the UK and across the world’s poorest countries.

If you want to get pedalling for pounds, or even organise your own Bike Week event, we‘ve got loads of ideas and tools for you to take part!

I work for 3 hours every morning in a factory. It's hard work but the 15p I earn every day helps to feed my family.

Thanks to you I can now go to school as well. I'm studying hard so I can get a good job and buy us a proper house.
